I hold a M.A. (Hons) Degree in Modern Languages (English and Hungarian) from the University of Florence, Italy. In 1995 I gained the certificates for Stage I and Stage II for Further and Adult Education Teacher's Scheme, at South Devon Community Education. Subsequently, I started teaching Italian at Exeter College (BTEC/GCSE/A Level courses) and evening classes (Adult Education) in several Community Colleges in and around Exeter.
In 1998 I joined Exeter University teaching Italian and Italian for Business at Agusta-Westland, Yeovil, Somerset, for an external contract with the University organized by the FLC, for the subsequent eight years.
Since 1999 I have been teaching Italian credit-rated modules at all levels for the Foreign Language Centre and courses for the Evening Language Programme.
From 2001 to 2006 I was also a member of staff teaching grammar and translation in the Department of Italian. In 2002 until 2004 I taught at Plymouth University, Exeter Campus (Art and Design with Italian)
I am an accredited examiner for PLIDA certificates.
